A rite of passage An order higher than man An act of discipline A purging of the land Kill for the state Advance your own position Prevent and suppress Unrest and rebellion With the power of the gods You’ll see who rules the earth Stronger than man Crypteia Ugh! A defender of the faith Of the state’s violent glory Degraded and enslaved You bow down in torment Life slips and passes you by An existential void to behold Pain beyond capacity We’ve got you in control We wander by night We wander by day We hunt the pariahs We strike with might Victory through strength Warfare through skill A power defined By the art of coercion Let masters reign The sovereign domain Accept your fate Death awaits

Dromocracy 09:01
Travelling with the speed of light Accelerating time Travelling through a space unknown What a joyful ride Mass mobilization A reduction of terrain A flattening of vision Immense amplification A time defined By increasing speed Accelerating beyond Human capacity A new geometry of violence In this fast-paced world Never ending changes Continuous disruption The cult of speed For the death of us all Synchronicity In the era of dromocracy Travelling with the speed of light Accelerating time Travelling through a space war-torn Hypermodern life The logic of war As the very essence Magnified to obliterate As we intensify the process History progresses at the Speed of it’s weapons A prophet of the apocalypse Riding on the waves of time Hail the new New machine Bringer of Monstrosity Hail the new New machine Leader of Dromocracy

about

On their debut EP, metal newcomers Terminalist delve into fast-paced riffing and melodic speed picking with menacing growls and intense blastbeats.

The band furiously blend elements of thrash metal, black metal and progressive metal, drawing influences from bands such as space-prog-thrashers Vektor, black-thrashers Melechesh and old school titans such as Testament and Metallica.

The lyrics take on late French thinker Paul Virilio's philosophy of dromology, a science of speed describing continuous and increasing acceleration as the defining logic of contemporary and future societies.

As such, the music reflects hypermodernity in full-on thrash throttle.

Hence Terminalist, chronicling the journey towards our demise with intensity and high-speed energy, dub their musical style “hyperthrash”.
